Dr.V.V.Radhakrishnan, who joined the Sri Chitra Institute of Medical Sciences in 1976 and later developed the Pathology Department of the institute, has been chosen by the National Academy of Medical Sciences, New Delhi, to deliver the ‘Pran Nath Chuttani Memorial Lecture 2003’.
The lecture was constituted in memory of the former President of the Academy in 1999. Dr.Radhakrishan was chosen for his work on TB affecting the central nervous system of people of developing countries.
Dr.Radhakrishnan, who is at present the professor and chairman of pathology at the Institute has published 170 papers in national and international journals. He is the recipient of many awards including B.C.Roy award.
